Tobacco-Free Campus Initiative

DACC is committed to providing its staff and students with a safe and healthy environment. To this end, Danville Area Community College will be a tobacco-free campus as of August 1, 2012. Reasons we are moving toward a tobacco-free campus include:

1. The exposure to second-hand smoke at building entrances and exits
2. The desire to ensure clean air for all who come to campus
3. The presence of underage students on campus
4. Tobacco litter throughout campus grounds
